2. Righteous rant! I'm in a similar boat because I was adopted.

I've tried twice to get my birth certificate and still don't have it. I remember we used to let people show a current bill, like a power bill for verification of address and name when working the polls.

Those days, we wanted as many people as possible to engage in democracy.

Authoritarianism thrives on a dysfunctional voting system.

We're close to losing the Republic, and that's not hyperbole.

Most people have no idea. Several don't care. The rest of us have been carrying the torch too long. Personally, I'm exhausted. But I'll be damned if I'm going to give up now.
