using transfer pumps and hose through culverts all over the place is bound to end up causing an unnoticed spill, or at least a spill a farmer tries to ignore because time and staff.

I hope they get a huge fine for this. Too many think they don't need to take care where they spread their manure. I say this as someone who comes from farming families and who married into one.
