7. I got caught on a course during a storm

We were playing on Long Island when a lightning storm blasted through. The strikes were numerous and spectacular but terrifying. We were sheltered by a snack stand

As we headed back to the clubhouse after the storm we saw a big oak tree that got hit. The tree was split in two and ALL the bark had been blasted off the tree! Frightening.
