2. There is some truth to this.

My wife and I had a hell of a time conceiving and when we did conceive we lost 2 of the 3 pregnancies. Both had to be terminated, one at 15 weeks because he had Edward's. If he did manage to last through the pregnancy, he would have most certainly died soon after. It shattered us. We kept trying and after two IVFs we called it quits. The doctor was trying to convince us to do one last one because my wife's hormone levels were great and my swimmers were apparently normal for once. It ended up being moot though as it just happened a month after the last IVF. It took 5 years of trying though. All the while everyone around us was having kids without any problems. Its hard to be happy for your siblings when you have been failing for so long

I don't wish what we went through on anyone even though we got lucky in the end. We became the cliche that you get pregnant when you stop the fertility treatments. So many never get to become that cliche and it hurts to think about that because I know what they felt like.
