In Minnesota 68% of school funding comes from the general fund. Yet, high income zip codes still get nearly 2x more money than low income zip codes. This practice was ruled unconstitutional (1971) and is unconstitutional per the Minnesota State constitution where education equality was codified into law. Yet, here it is in 2012 and it still goes on.
