1. It's inevitable. When there's a solar spill, things are going to get ugly for solar power.

The solution to the generation vs use problem will need to come in the form of solar power storage facilities, like Tesla Power Wall units and such.

Then we could just keep producing more and more solar energy, as needed to keep the whole system topped off.
