4. You use "Appeal to Authority" all of the time

Strictly speaking, it is an “informal fallacy.” Just because an “authority” believes something, does not logically prove that it is true. However, citing an authority on a matter makes much more sense than someone who is totally ignorant of the subject.

You like it, when it appears to support your position. For example, you like to (selectively) cite
IEA World Energy Outlook 2024
Table A.1a: World energy supply Page 296.

However, you do not cite Table A.3a

IEA World Energy Outlook 2024
Table A.3a: World electricity sector Page 299.


Why is that? (Here, I have focused on numbers of interest.)
