Chinese hydrogen refuelling station giant signs deal to enter Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American markets

Fusion Fuel’s H2 subsidiary BrightHy Solutions will act as Houpu Global Clean Energy’s authorised agent for its hydrogen product portfolio

Houpu Global Clean Energy, a major hydrogen refuelling station supplier within China, has signed a deal with Fusion Fuel’s H2 subsidiary BrightHy Solutions in order to expand its footprint into the Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American markets.

BrightHy will act as an authorised agent for Houpu’s hydrogen product portfolio in these regions.

Last May, it had signed a similar agreement with Chinese electrolyser manufacturer Sungrow, allowing it to supply hydrogen production equipment to Spanish and Portuguese green hydrogen projects.

Houpu has been behind some of China’s largest refuelling station projects, such as the Daxing hydrogen station in Beijing, which at the time of installation was the world’s largest...more
