22. For the last time: the big picture does not concern the terrorists who kill Jews.

Bringing up the big picture a hundred times in a row will not make the slightest dent in their dogma.

This is the subject of my post, and this is what you cannot bring yourself up to address.

This is out of character for me, but I will take your bait and address your deflection into Netanyahu's bed sharing habits that you are laser focused on, and their effects on the big picture. Netanyahu's influences on Trump and Putin are minuscule compared to Trump's and Putin's influences on the big-picture events that concern you (and me). They play a significant role in Israeli politics (about 35% of Israel's voters support them). and a far less significant role in regional politics. Netanyahu and Likud play a far smaller role in regional politics, and only inasmuch as they are part of Israel's governing coalition. I will not get into the faulty presumptions of just how much Netanyahu and Likud determine the trajectory of Israel's current government (it is a lot less significant than you think) since that would also be a deflection from the issue I raised in my post. Both Putin and Trump are having their hands full dealing with internal political challenges to listen to anything Netanyahu can tell them, and no matter how recklessly devious Netanyahu may appear, he is not an idiot to believe any promises from these two characters barely hanging on to their political survival.

You, on the other hand, make it sound like Netanyahu's choices of allegiance determine outcomes of events completely outside his control. You do him too much honor, I am afraid.

Now, having significantly departed from the subject at hand, let me return to it: Do you or do you not see the immediate existential threat to the Jews as well as longer-term existential threat to all but very few of us, as I outlined them in my initial post, at the hands of religious fanatics bent on killing everyone who do not submit to their uncompromisingly rigid world view?

I hope you can bring yourself to replying directly to the subject at hand without any further deflections.
