CERN has scientists from all over the world represented from countries whose politics and events are opposed to each other, yet the prime focus of those scientists is SCIENCE, not their governments.

Ironically, we lost the super collider being built in this country because of the anti-science views of the republicans, and they could see "no value" in the study of sub-atomic particles
