I volunteer at ours. It's really impressive. That could easily save them 60-120 dollars a month. Frankly, our bank lets people come in once a week for fresh produce and bread (so, that combined with the basics.....is about all we'd need in our home - if we were in that situation.

But get him to the food bank and see if your local one is any good.
