5. Yes, it is needlessly confusing.

Once I downloaded the HMO MAX app, like you, I could not get it to sign in. I finally gave up in frustration.

Here's what happened next. The following day I was back at it and I got signed in on the first try. I'm suspecting that HMO MAX is slow to sync with Amazon. It can't seem to match my HMO account until it completes adding my new HMO MAX, evidently after some unknown amount of time it finally can link both parts.

Amazon really needs to streamline this process.


Adding:

Under the section for providers you have to scroll down to find Prime Video. I'm a cord cutter so I have no provider and this also confused me.
