2. I'm using the low-dose (10% of full dose) for an auto-immune issue.

There's a good article on Atlantic (first, there's AA bashing, then the "Sinclair method" info after, so scroll down) about naltrexone's use in Finland for opioid and alcohol treatment.

One big point was that this method doesn't get all moralistic about "weakness" and "immorality." It's pretty clear that if this kind of treatment (which stops cravings by interfering with the physical opioid receptors or something) works, then addiction is a physical issue, not a moral one. And what a great point that is. Oh, and supposedly this also tamps down the desire for carbohydates and could help dieting!

Good for you for taking this action, and please report back! I'm thinking of going on the higher dose if it is safe.
