6. I've never been around people drinking much until a couple of months ago

I stayed with some folks who drank wine every day. They got tipsy, but not necessarily drunk. Just talked louder and louder, got cranked up--every evening. If it was a bad day, they commiserated; if it was a good day, they celebrated with wine. Every evening.

After a few evenings of it, it got pretty boring. I wondered if that was normal behavior for the wine drinking class.

Your post suggests I am not alone - thanks.
