No matter how long I've been clean and sober, it's healthy for me to take suggestions from others with humility and gratitude. That helps to keep me grounded.

Some others that help me are...

* Do a periodic gratitude list and express gratitude to someone in my life today.
* When something is repeatedly bothering me, write it down thoroughly so it's exposed to sunshine.
* Try to avoid criticism of other people (unless it's my job to do so). I was taught that uninvited criticism is just a way for me to feel like I'm better than others.
