Never thought to do this on making tomato pie. [View all]
Boil tomatoes dump in ice water to peel. This Mennonite lady gave me her recipe verbally or suggestion on boil then peel tomatoes.
And she did tell me she never salts the diced tomato to dry out. I’m like Wyle E Coyote in learning how to bake😉 the perfect tomato pie.
