We used to stop by on the way home and pick up any of the hostess treats for 10¢.
These included Twinkies, Cupcakes, Sno-Balls, Ding-Dongs, Suzy-Q's, Ho-Ho's & all the Pie flavors.
And since the food was not taxed, a dime got anyone of of these treats.
Multiple dimes, meant no after school treats. Our mom would figure out what we did.
