The routine we’ve settled into is that twice a day I put out canned food in and around the trap. Mama cat immediately comes out, eats a couple of cans of Fancy Feast, and calls her kittens. Then she leads the whole crew back into the overgrown yard. The kittens aren’t eating the food. As near as I can tell, they’re certainly old enough to eat solid food, but they haven’t shown any interest while I’m watching. There are definitely four of them—two black and two tuxedo.
