Our local shelters are full of dogs and cats [View all]

And the local dog warden, volunteer dog wranglers and cat whisperers are bringing strays in every day. Our very local shelter is celebrating 11 years of No-Kill and are offering adoption of any pet for $11, through March 11th. All pets in their care get altered, get examined, shots, other vet care, and have clean kennels, outdoor kennels, runs, toys, and bedding. In addition, they run low-cost SPOT clinics. I didn't have to buy Valentine gifts this year, so I sent money to sponsor 2 dogs. I send a donation monthly, because I can't foster or adopt right now. But it feels good to think I'm helping the pets
