1. It wasn't just Washington! The entire country!

And a good part of world. If you were alive that day anywhere in the world and had a TV or radio - you watched or listened to that event!!!!!

I was in 10th grade. I still remember the assassination and the days and weeks after. There is NOTHING that shocked the nation more than JFK’s death and burial. That includes the shooting of Reagan, the attempts at Ford - and even September 11, 2001!
