This is all well "above my pay grade," but I've passed it along to gs (resident IT, home maint. and mechanical guy - LOL).

He is all about designing and re-engineering things. He loves Ecomodders and is getting 50 mpg in our old Hondas. The legend is less, but is really a heavy boat with a cast iron engine. (we drive very little, so it's not so bad, and likely is getting much better mileage than every pick-up truck on the road - somewhere in high 20s.)
