2. Here come the chem trails...

The "chem trails" conspiracy theory says that the con trails from planes have chemicals added in to accomplish some goal. One variant says that goal that goal is to reflect sunlight and control global warming. And now the very similar:

One proposed geo-engineering method the study will look at is solar radiation management—a fancy term for pumping particles into the stratosphere to reflect incoming sunlight away from the planet.

But looking at all the hot weather and extreme events, I say right on. That's one conspiracy worth cheering for.
