It is with great sadness I relate the passing of a great, old time DU'er. Mr. Blur has left us. [View all]
He was a member since 2003 and was banned or "Flagged for Review" back in 2016 after a post that ...well...didn't sit well with the administrators.
An Englishman posting from his home within earshot of the Goodwood Racing Circuit, he was a talented, extremely well educated, brilliant, insightful, kind and thoughtful man who I grew very fond of. Even though his last post was over 7 years ago, he was a welcome rationalist in this and other forums and groups.
He died last Friday from Pnuemonia after a long illness.
I got to know him on Facebook much deeper than I knew him here.
