(47,209 posts)78. I think it needed to be said- today I explained voter registration to a Bernie supporting first time
voter. She did not think it would be a big deal if she registered her old address or new one, and assumed she could vote at any polling place in the entire state once registered. I explained the whole thing, including where to look for registration forms, and that she could do an absentee if the polling hours conflicted with her work schedule. (which is why she was considering using her old address).
