Consider, for a moment, what that means for the future of American politics.

Let's play out some very foreseeable hypotheticals. Four to eight more years of an incrementalist approach (that is constantly blocked by an obstructionist Congress) fails to bring these "free college" freeloaders the relief that they seek. Continued failure to address widening inequality or its structural causes (globalization and automation), or the corrupt political system that keeps it in place, further animates this demographic, whose political identities were formed around Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign. Four to eight years of aging and experience with the political system transforms this under-30 demographic into an under-34 and an under-38 demographic, that is better-equipped to register to vote and turnout for elections. Four to eight years of aging sees the thinning out of the baby boomer generation (in 2020 and 2024, U.S. Life expectancy will be about 79.5-80 years of age), that has so reliably turned out for Hillary Clinton in these primaries.
... What then, is the future for this Third Way/DLC Democratic Party? How will it be sustained?
