Joe Biden Calls On Bernie Sanders To Condemn Backers’ Vicious Attacks [View all]

Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday said that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) should be more forceful in urging his supporters to tamp down their verbal attacks on party officials. Some of Sanders’ voters sent vicious emails and left threatening voicemails with Democratic officials in Nevada over the last few days.

“That’s not Bernie,” Biden told reporters in Columbus, Ohio. “And what Bernie’s going to have to do if that happens again — he’s going to have to be more aggressive in speaking out about it.”
