(2,479 posts)Yep. My contribution today (rant) on Facebook about it.
It's the kind of pissed off you get when you lose a game, when you saw the umpire call someone out whose foot hit the bag so far before the tag, there was no dispute. Not only that, but all the referees and umpires seemed to have it in for your team, calling penalties for any errant touch, as in football, but allowing the other team to practically "ride" receivers down the field. (mixing sports here, but whatever)
When you play a clean game, when you feel you got a fair shake, it's way easier to shake it off and move on to the next one. But those times you got screwed in life, so blatantly and obviously that no one could miss it--well, that's something you never forget. And you don't tend to want to jump on board with the very people who did it to you.
Sad thing is, Hillary could have "probably" won fairly. She might have stuck to the issues she is going to "revert" back to with the inevitable flop. Debbie might have scheduled 20 debates before the first vote, so voters in the South could become acquainted with Sanders. She could have not pulled Sanders voters, and changed their ID's, she could've stopped the purges and made sure when people had stood in line, they were able to vote. She might have made sure the data breach didn't go both ways, that Hillary people didn't steal any data from the NGP VAN. The Democratic Party could have waited until the end to register SDelegates, as to allow the people to choose first, unbiased by whomever was ahead. They could have open primaries, as to not produce such massive confusion.
But they didn't. We got repeated bad calls, we got disrespected. Sanders should write a book, and call it "Running Against a Hurricane," because that is what this whole campaign has been. And we're pissed, righteously pissed, and I for one feel it is quite justified. And if we don't "come around" in time, I blame all the clueless Hillary voters, who knew little to nothing about her record, and who chose to deny any and all electoral manipulation, and who believed every flip that will turn into a flop later.
