I don't agree with Hillary's IWR vote. We all were against the Iraq war on this board. I was here under a different name.

But one reason (and not an honorable one) why so many in Congress voted for the IWR was because they were afraid of losing their seats if they didn't vote for it. They should have voted against it because it meant people were going to die needlessly and lost their seat if that was the price to pay.

So no I don't think Hillary did the right thing voting for the IWR.

Bernie had no threat of losing his seat so voting against the IWR was not threatening to him. I am not saying that was his reasoning but it was true be risked nothing.

I am not voting for Hillary because she has a perfect record. None of us do. Bernie doesn't either. He is no saint. But Hillary is the most qualified person running for president in 2016.

She will win the general and she will be the first woman president. I expect she will get shit thrown at her like Obama is getting but she will do a good job and we will be better for it.
