In reply to the discussion: Sanders says hes on verge of pulling off major political upset [View all]Juicy_Bellows

They run with the sniper fire clip - like all over the place - so many people have no idea about this gaffe. Is it trite? Sure, would it be effective? I would think so. That's public knowledge that first came to mind, there are other examples.
I also think that they have some dirt that they haven't used. Benghazi was just a bunch of hooey, ginned up by the little league. The wizards behind the curtain of the GOP have some heavy guns in waiting. A smart person wouldn't use their coup-de-grace prematurely - she didn't make it to the general in 2008, they sat on it. Never underestimate your enemies.
Sanders benefits from being pretty much an open book - does he have some targets? Sure, but HRC has got way too many - the party would be wise to make sure we don't 'float up a duck' so to speak.
I have my theories on why the party doesn't want Sanders anywhere near the nomination but that is a whole different enchilada.
Thanks for the civil discourse - it's kind of a rare thing lately.
