I'm Paulie, from Chicagoland. Been on DU for a decade, but one of those low post people that isn't a sock puppet. 
I've probably posted more since DU3 came online than I did in the previous handful of years. 
Lets see. I've been working in IT for 20 years, love audio books and podcasts as I spend 1 to 1.5 hours commuting each way.
One of my hobbies is genetic genealogy. I don't know my direct paternal line lineage in genealogical time, but it looks like I come from a long line of Anatolian barbarians. 
Maternal line is one of the H haplogroups.
My other hobby is a 5.5yr old girl and a 7mo old boy, along with not getting in trouble with the spouse. If it was known I was staying up late watching movies and prowling DU....
