Perhaps this issues can drive them to being registered and will help us get bigger majorities in the state legislature as well as more Democratic voters from Oregon for 2016 races.
And I visited the state legislature a couple of months ago and there might be some efforts soon to follow up on some legislation to follow up on this resolution that I helped get started early on a year ago. This version is a different one that I'd originally submitted, but it follows what I was proposing. Maybe this kind of legislation also could be something to galvanize young people in those parts of the state to help seize control of certain seats from the righties...

Doing this not only would help make the laws even more fair to everyone (instead of the crap that these righties are looking to get imposed on us), but would help reduce the size of our prison population, and as a result SAVE money at the state level too in a proper fashion, which they want so much to do.
