I'm just lurking there now but would like to join, and, like everybody else, I find the format puzzling.

I will join whether or not Bernie is the nominee--which would save both DU and the Democratic Party--but this Brockian invasion we're seen here has seriously degraded DU as a lively, well-informed, progressive site. And the DU rule of not criticizing Dem nominees is stifling, even with a good nominee, let alone a terrible one. Leaders need criticism ESPECIALLY when they're campaigning!
