53. Agree on "states rights" -

typical republican position. All of the social rights, civil rights, must be national, whether we get there through legislation or Supreme Court cases. The right will use "states rights" as an argument because they want to shelf something and have no intention of addressing it. And they will also use it as a wedge issue to separate us in election years. Too many people fall for that.
