This is what I've wanted to see from KH. More policy.

What I also want to hear is whether the candidates proposing MFA plan to FIX Medicare so that it covers medications/procedures not currently covered. My private insurance currently pays for several treatments/meds I have to have. Medicare doesn't cover them. While I want some sort of system where everyone can get covered... I'm really leery about having to give up private insurance until the M4A people start addressing the fact that Medicare tries to cut costs by denying the sickest people (disabled people, those with chronic conditions) access to medications they deem too expensive (that are covered under employer-based insurance) even when a doctor says they're medically necessary.
