do not say I broke the rules of DU by bashing Bernie... he is an Independent, not a Democrat!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
But what has he accomplished that he is proud of? getagrip_already Jan 2020 #1
That is not my concern. He is proud of being an Independent Senator. MineralMan Jan 2020 #2

And I don't picture Sanders as a fence mender PatSeg Jan 2020 #8

I live in mass and mostly agree with you.. getagrip_already Jan 2020 #9
That's a big reason why I wouldn't want to live there. I HATE guns, don't want to be around them. George II Jan 2020 #11
I don't hear about much gun violence in Vermont, though. MineralMan Jan 2020 #12

Oh no. The party affiliation concerns. aikoaiko Jan 2020 #17
Nope. However, we do have a de facto two-party system here. MineralMan Jan 2020 #18
Bernie is demonstrating how one might be an independent and succeed in a de facto 2-part system aikoaiko Jan 2020 #19
Really, I don't think Bernie will become the Democratic nominee. MineralMan Jan 2020 #20
I tend to agree, but he is demonstrating how an independent can be involved and possibly win. aikoaiko Jan 2020 #21
Nothing prevents any candidate from being involved. MineralMan Jan 2020 #23

I'm good with Bernie as a Democrat or an I. It's his positions, views and ideas -- KPN Jan 2020 #27
I vote for Democrats period. I would vote for Sanders if he is in the general of course. Demsrule86 Jan 2020 #32
So do I. The upside is Sanders runs as a Democrat. KPN Jan 2020 #39
