11. I argue with and ridicule idiot racist fuckheads not because I I hate them...

and certainly not because I think that I'll change them, but rather because I don't want some quiet, lurking Progressive to read the fuckhead's post on some community page and feel isolated and alone.

My own town is filled with frothing Trump cultists daily broadcasting their ignorance, hatred, and bigotry, and I am one of the few Progressive voices willing and able to attack them online.

It may look like hate, but I am motivated in fact by kinship with that timid lurker and by a sense of brotherhood with those vulnerable groups victimized by the fuckheads' bigotry.
