They vote GOP mostly because they're cheapskates who don't want to pay taxes. Same reason so many people in southern NH fled Mass. even though some of them make long commutes and still work there. They are, however, quite rational in other areas.

It sounds like this woman isn't the only one in the crowd who has that guy's number. It's why slick sleazeball Republicans who think they can win on culture war non issues should probably skip town halls in New England. They can be brutal.
