But how many times have you seen someone write "He's not a Democrat."? Bernie's message is essentially aligned with FDR/New Deal but is undermined by the establishment (i.e. Donor class) and identity politics. The Democratic coalition must very fragile if we can't get behind the core agenda. There is absolutely no reason to sacrifice civil rights for economic justice, but some people think it's a zero sum game. I think we are being manipulated by those very same Oligarchs that Bernie is talking about.
