INQUIRY ORDERED INTO IRAQI'S DEATH
The family of an Iraqi civilian allegedly unlawfully killed by British troops has won its High Court challenge fighting the Government's refusal to order an "independent and effective" inquiry into his death.
The ruling could have significant implications for British forces serving abroad.
Hotel worker Baha Mousa, 26, was allegedly beaten to death while in custody southern Iraq.
His family had argued that although he was allegedly attacked outside the European Union, he was still protected by the European Convention on Human Rights....
