This Week’s Political Fiction/Yawner: Tweety Running for Senate |
|
Arlen Specter’s seat in the Senate is going to be challenged by none other than Chris Matthews of Hardball? Now there’s a Celebrity Death Match I’d yawn through. To be serious, we’ve got a lot more urgent issues in this country than this potential race between Mr. Single Bullet theory and the wienie who is Chris Matthews. http://allspinzone.com/wp/2008/11/29/this-weeks-political-fictionyawner-tweety-running-for-senate/

1. I would never have guessed, from the way people react to him here... |
|
...that he'd be running as a Democrat. Such is apparently the case.

he worked for Carter and Tip O'Neill. I just think in his TV work he too often sacrificed truth on the pagan altar of "fairness."

6. I don't find Tweety that smart |
|
Oh, you mean Welch's onetime ownership of NBC? That's old.

3. If Sestak or Schwartz run, that loudmouth slob won't make it. He is a fool. |

4. I'm not upset with Tweety |

and Sestak might be more conservative than Specter. Still, Sestak will preserve our rights, an area where Specter has failed on a Bushian level. Allyson Schawrtz is fine as well.
