Poll question: Should the Republican party be called the Republic party? |
|
Conservatives love to call the Democratic party the Democrat party, because they say there is nothing "democratic" about it. Should we call the Republican party the Republic party?

1. Don't mince words: they're the Fascist Party |
|
Seriously - the party exists to expand corporate rights, plain and simple.

Call them 'Publicans.
It's a similar bowdlerization, and it hooks into their Bible fetishism, too.

It hearkens back to the days of the Roman Republic and also to Abraham Lincoln's legacy. Somewhere in between now and then the party has gone wildly astray and the Democratic party back on track.

Issues are way more important than getting sucked down to their level.
But, always try to call them on their disrespect by using the improper grammar: "Democrat Party" instead of "Democratic Party".
