So--quick, before the post-speech polls: How big a bump? |
|
I think Kerry will hit about 58% to Bush's 38 as the Undecided category collapses into Kerry's column in the first polls taken after the speech.
For my money, it was a brilliant speech: eloquent, moving, thrilling, uplifting...
I didn't watch Fox, but I suppose they and CNN are already trying to spin it into something small and mean, but they won't be able to do it.

I really don't think there are that many undecideds. But he'll go above 50%, probably around 53-54%

3. I don't expect much of a bump. |
|
There just aren't that many undecideds. I'll set the bar low and hopefully be pleasantly surprised. I won't be dissapointed if the polls don't show much - he defined himself as a much bigger man than the small little angry bitch in the WH - I think the benefit is bigger than a "bump".

4. The "cadence was too fast", insanity. |
|
John's technique was spot on, he built the intensity, he made his points concisely and clearly and he challenged busholini jr. head on at every perceived publican strength, neutralizing any intellectual advantage they might have ever had.
The wrong wing ass kissers are scared spitless because they know their lies have no power over the righteous indignation of John Kerry.

the 'undecideds' are really more of those folks who don't vote, except in times of discontent.
these are the days of discontent, and they will turn out in droves.

There just aren't that many undecided voters. However, even a small change can turn several states which are close in the polls, so look for a pretty healthy change in the EV projections.

if he's at around 52-53 in the polls. It was a great speech and with the pressure that was on him, he did a fantastic job.
Next the debates, and from the election...
and to the WH!

This country is so divided that I think it will be tough to get more. Anything more than 7 will be huge.

More importantly, anti-Bush people are becoming pro-Kerry voters and Kerry's base is growing.
All about turnout.

15. Yup. Turnout. Voter registrars raise your hands!! |
|
:headbang:
Go to your city hall and become deputized as a voter registrar. Then sign folks up to vote. It's easy.
