I think the arm forces are getting desperate |
|
I have a monster account and I just received this in my e-mail.
Did you know that your particular skills and interest in healthcare could serve you and your career very well in the U.S. Naval Reserve?
By joining our force, you will not only be helping your country, you'll be acquiring some of best medical training and experience available in the world. You will also receive countless benefits and rewards in exchange for a part-time commitment.
We currently have officer opportunities available for Nurses, Physicians, Dentists, as well as a variety of senior administrative and other healthcare practice positions in the Medical Service Corps. We also have enlisted opportunities for Hospital Corpsmen and Dental Technicians.
One of the greatest benefits of joining our force is that you won't have to sacrifice your personal life to serve. Your training sessions will almost always be with the Naval Reserve unit located closest to your home.
To learn more about the Naval Reserve, we encourage you to visit navalreserve.com. Or, if you would like a Naval Reserve representative to contact you directly, please click here.
Or could this be the next step of the backdoor draft before they actually start drafting

It's an email sent to specific individuals. I don't think they've done that before... could be wrong though.

8. She could walk across the Canadian border and they would kiss her feet. |
|
She'd have to take the exam again, but that's no big whoop.

9. You're lucky. I'm in IT and have received no such e-mail. |
|
Given my current job status (I know I will be unemployed by circumstance within 2 years and, having been looking for over a year, there are NO jobs), I'd likely take them up on the offer.

12. About the Navy and the medical people they want |
|
Most of the corpsmen (field medics, etc) for the marines are Navy. Chances are these people they are trying to get would be sent to Iraq attached to a Marine Unit somehow.
