1. there is a story, you may have heard christianne amanpour telling it this |
|
morning, that in his childhood and during the nazi occupation of Poland, Karol Wojtyla was friends with a Jewish boy who one day, when they were both a little older, went looking for Wojtyla in the Church... some of the women in the church turned their faces in horror saying "what is a Jewish boy doing in the Catholic church?" and it is reported that Wojtyla answered, "aren't we all the children of ONE God?"

Christ was gay... and Carl Jung says that homophobes are those who cannot accept their own homosexuality within, which, according to Jung each of us has... And, so, in the case of Popes, Priests, Cardinals and so on ... perhaps those who might have felt some warm attraction to another Priest, Cardinal, Monsignori etc., are the ones who become the most strict in what they call SEXUAL MORALITY... which they also take from the teachings of ST. AUGUSTINE (not Christ). St. Augustine was a womanizer and "sinner" until the prayers of his mother St. Martha (I believe it was) were heard and he converted and eventually became Bishop of Hipo. I think he's entire code of morality is based more on his own sense of guilt and need for mea culpas than on actual Christ teachings.

7. What he didn't base upon his own guilt |

was based upon the teachings of Paul of Tarsus and others who perverted christianity. They certainly weren't based on the true teachings of Jesus. Those teachings are still considered heresy.

he saved during the holocaust.
He was human and as impefect as all of us, but he had a fundamental decency and humanity that many never properly understood.
