agency. He wants to make things nicer for business. Thinks Unions are special interests. Pete Wilson, the author of deregualtion, is his campaign manager. There are many issues to use against Arnold.

17. Thank you. What issues has Arnold ever managed? |
|
He cant even manage (and apparently has no interest in controlling) his own groping urges, not to mention his business dealings.
AND THIS GUY MIGHT GOVERN THE FIFTH LARGEST ECONOMY IN THE WORLD!!! (that deserves all caps***)

Arnold hasn't really gone beyond platitudes and "I'll audit" so all there is concerning issues is his lack of stands taken on them.

last campaign was framed. He went after Riordan in order to choose the weaker opponent to beat and has been slammed in the press for the negative campaign.
Arnold, until this morning, had not been specific about a single thing but for the car tax, the Indian tax issue, and workers compensation costs.
Davis's commercials have been excellent, he just can't afford as many. It is a crime when Democrats raise money and broad support and populism when Republicans do.

15. I don't know that he has come out for it personally |
|
since again, he would be targetted as a hypocrite for doing so but many California Democrats (currently serving) do support it. I don't know what her specific model is but we are looking at the Arizona initiative since that one passed muster with the Supreme Court.

6. The only issue Arnold has |
|
is his longstanding and continuing abuse of women. That and the gay porn he's susposed to have done. He's not really a "defender" of anyone expept himself.

16. Davis doesn't stand a chance of getting all the press Arnold has gotten |
|
The major radio stations here are KIIS FM which is Rick Dees (Oliver NOrth's former roomate and in all probability based on that fact CIA), Howard Stern (another Republican), KLOS (owned by Disney and they have had Maria Shriver on several times)
The real point of this recall was to defund the Democratic party on time for the primaries in March.
It is a dollars and cents issue. Limited donors, and limited funds against several well financed millionaire Republicans.

19. isn't it bad enough that Arnie has no political experience? |

not to mention that he ducked all the debates but one?
that Pete Wilson is his chief advisor?
are you really trying to say that Arnie wanting to disband Cal/EPA is "no difference in positions"?

20. Arnold to Voters: I'll tell you my positions after you elect me, idiots |
|
Davis can argue anything he wants, but Arnold will just say something different the next day.
Until Arnold takes some strong stands on at least a few issues, what is Davis supposed to do?
Davis is very strong about what he believes, that is as good as he can do right now.
There is also the problem that some of the wimpy California Dems didn't want to see Davis go on a full scale attack on Arnold. If his hands weren't tied, who knows what he might have been able to do to Arnold by now.
Finally the gloves are coming off, hopefully it's not too late.
The media wants Arnold to win so bad, it's disgusting.

21. Schwarz HAS taken positions |
|
Speaking to a group of rightwingers, he said he wants to reform medi-cal, look at energy policy, sell off California's assets, reform workers' compensation (lots of state employees, so there's some money there) and even though he said he'd never raise taxes, he wants to tap Indian casinos for 'revenue.' (Interesting that he has someone on his campaign with ties to Nevada casinos.)
