"Medical Institute of Sexual Health" -- what the heck is it?

Our local newspaper had a guest editorial about the importance of teaching abstinence in sex ed, and it cited research by the "Medical Institute of Sexual Health" that says condoms are only effective against STD's 50% of the time. (A figure we all know is BS.) So I've been on the internet, and this MISH organization, based in Texas, seems to be anti-gay and big supporters of Bush. Yet it's cited all over the place by health organizations, as if it's a legitimate organization.

Anyone know anything about it? I'd love to start a file on these people.
