"Fearless Leader"/Schumaker |
|
Our "leader" is donating $10k of his own hard earned ill begotten cash to the victims of nature in Asia.
By contrast, F1 Race driver Schumaker is donating $10,000,000.00 of cash he earns by driving a tiny 1500 pound race car at over 200 mph on crooked road coarses wheel to wheel with other cars.
Possibly those who God speaks directly to have some sort of "financial cap", kind of like a tort reform or something.

Sorry, I'm a terminally batshit crazy F1 nut and I become a mouth-frothing spelling nazi when that subject comes up. :hi:

2. $10 million? I wonder if that will |
|
shame the filthy rich Bush & family into donating more. I hope so, but it won't mean anything to him other than his "image".
Congratulations to Schumacher. Generous donation.

I Googled out the sources, and below is what I just posted on my Union BBS: "Bush contributes $10,000 in personal funds for tsunami relief." http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/news/a/2005/01/05/national1340EST0579.DTL"F1 Driving Superstar Michael Schumaker donates 10 million dollars to tsunami victims relief" http://www.highschoolsports1.com/pnorman

4. although i would argue the wheel to wheel statement in your post.. |
|
because usually the only thing Schumacher's competition ever sees is his exhaust, I will agree that this is an incredibly beautiful gesture on his part.
Big ups to Schumy!!

Schumi does go wheel to wheel with the "competition"... when he laps them!
Allthough there was that incident with Montoya and the Monaco tunnel wall...
