I'm going to go see the "Wedding Date" this afternoon
because I've been so damn melancholy lately that even if it's bad.... it's gotta be better than this!

Besides I love Debra Messing.

1. I am so out of the loop - I take it that's a new movie -
a romantic comedy? Has it gotten good reviews?

4. Yeah, it's a romantic comedy where Debra Messing's
character has to go to her sister's wedding so she pays $6,000 to hire a guy (Dermott Mulroney sp?) from a dating service to go with her and pretend to be her new boyfriend. That's all I know from the previews. I'll let you know if it's any good or not. :hi:

7. Okay - Those kinds of movies are pretty predictable, but
usually fun to watch - especially if you are a little melancholoy - which I am sorry to hear, btw.

10. I'm kinda counting on the "predicitability" in this case
if she gets aids and dies in the end, I'm gonna be really pissed off.
:D

2. I think we're going to see it tomorrow.
I'm really looking forward to it. I love Debra Messing. But the movie has been made before in a very similar thing, and it was called Picture Perfect with Jennifer Aniston and Jay Mohr.

5. Yeah kind of similar concept to Picture Perfect
but maybe it will be different enough that it will still be good.

Off topic but speaking of Jay Mohr- did you ever see his stand up comedy routine on Comedy Central a few months back? It was called "My Turn". I'm a big stand up comedy fan and I collect dvd's - that was one of the *funniest* routines I have ever seen. I wish they would release it. Surprising, I didn't know he was so funny. :)

9. I have before. I've looked high and low.. nothin ..nada..
He has this one part of the routine where he says soap is magical... or at least we act like it is. Because if you're in a house with several people think about the last thing they wash.. and the first thing you wash.
Then he says "soap is the only substance where we can wash our a** and go right up to our face and feel *cleaner*"
He goes "if you tried that with applesauce, you'd just be like.. Uggh gross... man! I have a** and applesauce on my face. Soap is magical.. or it better be like I'm tellin ya."

LOL. So true. :D

3. ah, Dermot Mulroney...
Was just lusting over him yesterday when I saw a piece about the movie on the tube...

That will certainly motivate me to go see it, junky movie or no.

12. Absolutely.
Need a break from being so pissed off all the time!

(Which is why I stayed up way too late last night watching Kate and Leopold. Hugh Jackman, another one I drool over.)

13. Kate and Leopold I've tried to watch like four times
and haven't made it through. I always get distracted at the butter commercial stuff and go do something else.

Hugh Jackman is a hotty. I'm a Brad Pitt, Matt Damon kinda girl. You must go for the dark hair, dark eyes? No?

15. I've had my limit on being socially aware, moved
and deep emotional experiences... I'm ready for some mind numbing, don't make me think, stay on the surface, laugh and possibly see some guy helf nekked kind of experience! :P
