My Step-Gran died this morning.
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 06:33 PM by devilgrrl
She was 99. It's weird, we all knew it was coming but I'm completely numb. She was a wonderful human being.

Ninety nine year-old resident Anna Kunz listens to the harp music of Bambi Niles in the Birch wing hallway at the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford. The picture was taken through the outside window.

2. I'm so sorry
Even though she was so elderly and you were expecting it, it's never, ever easy to lose a loved one. I hope she went peacefully. Take care.

4. My Grandpa died at 96 and I was still unsettled.
He died due to food poisoning because he was taking blood thinners. I had seen him on a visit back home just a month before he died and he seemed to be as healthy I had ever seen a 96 year old. Still had his wit (he tried to fix me up with a girl at the home)and he could walk well. I still miss him.

5. It's never easy lass but think of all the good times
you had and be thankful for those. I think she'd be happy if you were celebrating her life and what she did for you.

regards

May she rest in peace. Ninety-nine? A long and fruitful life she led, I'm sure.
