Local WB channel showing X-Files episode "Home" tonight |
|
I can't wait for this one, one of my all time favorites and the one they never rerun.
(Yes, the momma under the bed episode.)

1. Thanks for the warning |
|
That was too creepy, even for a lawyer.
My favorite - it just about left me limp - was the one with Peter Boyle as the psychic guy. Remember that one?
Oy, the ending, the ending of that one................

4. That's my favorite too! |
|
The first time I watched it, I was home alone on a stormy night. It was a perfect backdrop for that episode.
The use of music in 'Home' was great too.

That's one of the most gruesome episodes ever. I can't even watch it again--it scares the bejeebers out of me.

9. They showed that ep in Phoenix last night. |
|
I watched it and thought, "What a twisted episode!" I remember seeing it when it originally aired but I had forgotten how disturbed it really was!

10. I saw it when it originally aired as well. |
|
From what I've read, it was so disturbing it didn't even air in all Fox markets that night, and Fox never reran it. I know I haven't seen it since it originally aired myself.

12. I remember they said they would never air it again. |
|
But I didn't realize that it hadn't been originally aired in certain cities. That's kind of funny.

15. The episode is supposedly set in Pennsylvania |
|
Edited on Sun Mar-20-05 09:04 PM by HamstersFromHell
Not terribly hillbilly there I would think?
Does raise another potential poll:
Were The Beverly Hillbillies Inbred?
on edit: my spelling (again)

Hell, I'd wager there are hillbillies in every state. It's not limited to the south or the Ozarks.

18. Pennsylvania has rural areas. |
|
Outside the cities, many of the "Blue" states are not that urbane.
The Old Order Amish--NOT featured in the X-files episode--have considerable genetic problems because of inbreeding.

24. My favorite lines are... |
|
Scully: "Way I think it goes here is that Edmund is the brother and the father of the other two."
Mulder: "Which means that when Edmund was a kid he could ground the other two for playing with his things?"
